Milborne Port Primary School

A warm welcome to the website of Milborne Port Primary School, including The Beeches Pre-School.  I am proud to be the Headteacher of this school leading the education, care and guidance of 160 pupils aged 2 to 11 years.  We have six classes:  Reception, Year 1, Year 2, Year 3/4, Year 4/5 and Year 6. 

We have a happy thriving school with great children and staff, who all strive to do their very best. Our motto is ‘Building a Foundation for Life’ and we aim for all children to develop their skills to a high standard in Reading, Writing and Mathematics, alongside a broad and balanced curriculum enriched with opportunities to thrive and be creative.  

We have specialist teachers for Music and PE and offer a variety of clubs each week so that children can follow their interests and develop their skills. The majority of these clubs take place during lunchtimes.  We offer Before School Care from 7.45 am every morning and after school care until 4.15 pm (Mondays - Thursdays).  We are very fortunate that the Milborne Port Community Swimming Pool is situated within the school grounds.  It is used by the whole school for swimming lessons as well as being available for hire by the community. 

We have a thriving school community including a proactive Governing Body and a PTFA (Parents, Teachers and Friends Association) who are successful in raising money and supporting the school’s initiatives.
