Key Information

Reading at home should be recorded in your child's Reading and Home Learning Journal. It is their responsibility to bring these to school and home again every day as theses are also used for computer login details, spellings and any quick messages from me. Please aim to read at home three times per week. In addition, this year children and adults will list the books they have read in the pages at the back of their journal every time they finish a book.

Home Learning: Tasks will be set to complete weekly and one piece should be returned each Monday. Written tasks should be completed carefully in pencil and be read through by children prior to handing it in. Instructions will be provided for homework tasks plus any special resources required to complete this.

Forgotten items: If pupils have forgotten their coat or lunch, a box will be placed outside the office main entrance to drop off these items and should clearly detail the pupil's name and class. Please ensure your child's name is written in all of their clothing, on their lunch box, bottle and coat so that their belongings can be swiftly found if sent to lost property.

Uniform and PE lessons: During Spring term, PE will take place on Mondays and TuesdaysChildren need to come to school in their PE kit on this day. In addition, please ensure children continue to keep a pair of wellies or rough shoes in school to accommodate outdoor learning, play times or activities on the school field.

Contact me: If you have any questions, queries or information that you would like to communicate to me, please email the office so that it can be forward to me to deal with. If you would like to make appointments to speak to me by phone, this can also be arranged through the school office. For quick questions and communication, you can pop to the class before or after school.

Thank you for your ongoing support,
